"Now that she’s resting‚ may she rest in peace" - ANCYL about Thuli Madonsela

The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) has launched another attack on former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela‚ pleading with her to “rest in peace“.

These remarks came on Monday after Madonsela released her “final batch” of investigations into state capture on November 2‚ two weeks after her term of office came to an end.

“The ANCYL has noted that the drama queen has left the office and therefore remains not busy these days and as the Youth League‚ we want to wish her well in her DA [Democratic Alliance] endeavors.

“Now that she’s resting‚ may she rest in peace‚” said ANCYL national spokesperson Mlondi Mkhize.

He was speaking at a media briefing at the ANC headquarters in Johannesburg.

The Youth League urged newly Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane to be cautious of her staff members as they were responsible for leaking cases to the media and other political parties.

Mkhize said these leaks were tarnishing the reputation and independence of that office. — TMG Digital
