Two men accused of killing a teacher who had hired them to fit floor tiles at her home were convicted in the Mafikeng High Court sitting in the Moretele Magistrate’s Court in North West on Wednesday.
Tshepiso Aphana‚31‚ and Tsosoloso Marule‚ 28‚ assaulted Seapei Rosina Mosima with an unknown object before they tied her up with string.
Mosima had invited the two into her home to fit the tiles in August 2011.
After the murder‚ the two left the house and returned with a bakkie on which they loaded Mosima’s household contents‚ including a lounge suite‚ foot massage sponge‚ cell phones‚ television and microwave.
The two were later arrested and charged with murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
The case was postponed to Thursday for sentencing.
