Pallo Jordan’s mother dies

President Jacob Zuma has sent his condolences to the family of ANC stalwart Pallo Jordan following the death of his mother‚ Phyllis Ntantala-Jordan.

Ntantala-Jordan died on Sunday at the age of 96.

Mama Phyllis‚ as she was affectionately known‚ was an activist and married to the late literary historian‚ Archibald Campbell Jordan.

“We wish to convey our deepest condolences to the Jordan family‚ friends and relatives. We have lost a pioneer and an inspiration to many people. May her soul rest in peace‚” said Zuma.
