The body of a missing teenage girl was discovered in the early hours of Friday morning‚ police said.
Charmaine Magielies‚ 17‚ of Missionvale in Algoa Park‚ Port Elizabeth‚ had been tied up‚ wrapped in blankets‚ and dumped outside a house not far from where she lived.
She had left home at about 7pm on June 13 to visit her brother who lives nearby. She left her brother’s house at about 3am on June 14.
Later that day‚ her parents reported her missing.
Her body was found at about 5:15am on June 17.
Police are investigating the circumstances of her death and have opened a murder docket.
