BlackBerry has announced it will release two new smartphones later this year reports The Verge.
CEO John Chen announced in an interview this week that the new smartphones will both run Android, and while one will come with a physical keyboard, the other will have a touch screen.
Both phones are also set to fall into a lower, mid-level price range than BlackBerry's previous release, the $699 Priv, possibly below the $500 mark.
The phones are apparently code-named the Rome and the Hamburg, however further details and a launch date are yet unclear.
