Transport Minister Dipuo Peters has expressed her condolences to the families of Maritzburg United football star Mondli Cele‚ and SABC sports journalist Delisile Ngwenya who were killed in a car accident at the weekend.
They died when the vehicle they were travelling in went out of control and careened into the Umsunduzi River in Pietermaritzburg in trhe early hours of Sunday.
Peters‚ at the same time‚ urged road users to exercise extreme caution as traffic volumes increased due to holidaymakers returning from various holiday destinations around the country.
