Injured woman airlifted off Cape Town’s Lions Head

A 46-year-old injured woman had to be airlifted off Cape Town’s Lions Head mountain on Saturday afternoon‚ paramedics reported.

ER24 emergency medical service‚ which was called to the parking lot near Lions Head to pick up the injured woman‚ said it was understood that she had sustained moderate injuries while climbing in the mountains.

“AMS helicopter was called in to airlift the patient to the awaiting ER24 ambulance.

“Paramedics treated the patient and thereafter transported her to a nearby hospital for further treatment‚” ER24 said.
