A motorist and an officer got into a heated argument at the scene of an accident at the N4 Bakwena/N1 South interchange on Friday morning.

In the video the motorist's wife is video taping the scene of an accident when the officer approaches the vehicle and bangs on the bonnet.

Both men start shouting and the officer grabs the motorists keys.

The man pulled over and jumped out of his car to confront the officer while his wife continued taping the incident with her phone.

The argument intensified and the motorist was shoved by the officer.
