I will never steal from the domestic workers: Malema

EFF leader Julius Malema's fraud trial is expected to start at the Polokwane High Court on Monday.

Malema and his co-accused face charges of fraud, corruption and racketeering resumes in the High Court on charges of fraud‚ corruption and racketeering for allegedly misrepresenting themselves to the Limpopo roads and transport department in order to get a R52million tender.

It is alleged that Malema's Ratanang Family Trust was a shareholder in On-Point Engering which was awarded the tender.

The case was postponed in September 2014.

He has since pleaded innocent saying he would never steal from 'domestic workers'.

"When you steal from government you are stealing money for social grants which is aiming at children who do not have their parents," he said on eNCA.

"I will never do that, I will never steal from the domestic workers, I will never steal from the homeless people.

"I come before you accused of stealing, something that I do not know of."
