A month-long strike by National Education Health and Allied Workers’ Union (Nehawu) workers at Parliament over salaries and bonuses is over.

Parliament announced on Monday that the two parties had signed an agreement over the weekend to end the strike.

“Discussions between Parliament and the national leadership of the union have resulted in the agreement which paved the way for striking staff to return to work today (Monday)‚” it stated.

No further details were provided.
