Police are still searching for the killers of a North West businessman who was gunned down in his car near Pretoria on Friday.
Wandile Bozwana‚ owner of Orgazma Special Energy Drink‚ died in hospital on Friday night from his injuries. A colleague‚ Mpho Baloyi‚ who was also wounded in the attack‚ is reported to be in a critical condition in a Pretoria hospital.
“No arrests have been made yet‚” police spokesperson Sergeant Asnath Malatsi said‚ adding that no further details were available at this stage.
“The investigation is ongoing.”
Bozwana and Baloyi were travelling on the N1 north from Johannesburg at about 4pm on Friday when four men travelling in a silver grey BMW M3 pulled up alongside their Renault Clio near the Garsfontein off-ramp and opened fire on them.
Bozwana was struck by nine bullets‚ five in the lower back‚ while Baloyi‚ who was driving‚ was struck twice. Despite being wounded she apparently managed to drive the vehicle to a nearby shopping centre to seek help.
