A human fetus has been discovered in a drain in Emjindini in Barberton in Mpumalanga province.
According to emergency medical service ER24‚ the fetus was discovered by a person while cleaning the drain.
“The fetus was found to be about 12 weeks old‚” ER24 said‚ adding that police were investigating the incident.
Meanwhile‚ a toddler was found lying face down in a swimming pool in the Cape Town suburb of Milnerton last night.
The child‚ aged about one-and-a-half years‚ was rushed to hospital after failing to respond to resuscitation attempts by paramedics but was declared dead on arrival‚ according to ER24.
