The department of transport on Friday will release its final investigation report into an incident in which a Boeing 747-400 collided with a building at OR Tambo International.
According to a department statement‚ the collision occurred on December 22‚ 2013‚ when British Airways flight BA034‚ which was scheduled to embark on a long haul flight to Heathrow International Airport‚ “sliced an office building” shortly before takeoff.
Copies of the departrment’s Accident and Incident Investigation Division report will be available on www.caa.co.za from 11am on Friday.
