Venezuelan female news presenters have chosen an unusual way to show their support for their national football team

Eight presenters from a show translated as 'Stripping the News' have bared it all as encouragement for their national team to do well in this year's Copa America soccer tournament.

The stripping news team made up of models and beauty contestants use their style of presenting to empower women to be comfortable with nudity while reading the news.

According to Daily Mail, presenter Yuvi Pallares, has made headlines after taking her clothes off while reporting on a sex scandal involving Christiano Ronaldo. 

As motivation the team have promised to post more nude content on their site for every stage the soccer team progresses too.

Venezuela are underdogs in a group including Brazil, Colombia, and Peru this year.

The team placed fourth last year and are hoping to beat defending champions Uruguay.

The tournament kicks off at the end of the week in Chile and Venezuela play their first match against Colombia on Sunday.

The presenters have also asked other women to join in, to show support for their national team.
