"Fortunate white cops arrived": Malema

By Sapa | Aug 25, 2014 | COMMENTS [ 152 ]

It was fortunate that white police officers arrived at the National Assembly when the EFF was refusing to leave because they had a better grasp of the law, party leader Julius Malema said on Monday.

"I mean, we were in Parliament where freedom of speech is unlimited," he told reporters outside the High Court in Pretoria.

"You call police. Fortunately white police came. They know the law unlike our fellow brothers."

Malema said when the police arrived at the National Assembly they questioned why the EFF was there.

"When they arrived there, they said to them, 'well, what do we do?' because these guys here, they are protesting at their workplace, they are non-violent, they are not beating up anybody.

"'As far as we are concerned, we as police we also do not have anything to do with what happens inside Parliament. So, why do you call us here?'" he said.

On Thursday, Malema objected to President Jacob Zuma's reply to a question about when he was going to repay part of the R246 million spent on security upgrades to his private Nkandla homestead in KwaZulu-Natal.

National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete ordered the red overall-clad MPs out after they began to disrupt proceedings and started chanting "pay back the money".

The MPs refused to leave, continuing to chant and shout slogans, and riot police were called in to help remove them.

Mbete was forced to adjourn proceedings.

Oh really? Juju that's quite something coming from you. Got any comments on farming success? Farmers paying into the fiscus versus farmers drawing money from the fiscus for example?

low life fat thing, accusing black people of not being capable of their jobs, not knowing the tax laws because it is new to them. this after 20 years, and he wants to lead a country, not sure who is the biggest moron, you or your followers.

Aug 26, 2014 6:44 | 3 replies

He knows the tax laws. He was not just abiding by the law. Some white people also don't abide by the law like he did.

Aug 26, 2014 7:20 | 2 replies

Shredder - He knows the laws. He just figured that if the money was made illegally, then you dont need to pay taxes.

Aug 26, 2014 7:28 | 0 replies

to be fair Shredder at the time when Malema was employed by ANCYL it is fair to say he may not have known about tax return or how to fill the forms as this was his first (by hiw own admittance) real formal job, also the fact that he was not submitting it means many in the anc who are big earners were not submitting hence they didnt' advise him on teh right thing to do when he was on a certain income bracket, they waited to use this against him when it was politically suitable for them, I say we must conduct lifestyle audits on all of htem, and we all see who is submitting to SARS or not, I guarantee you its not ONLY Malema.

Dumelang ausi. Juju never cease to surprise and make me laugh. He always have something to say. Last week, after the altercation in parliament; Paula Charles interviewed him. She asked about the squabble that EFF had with ANC supporters. He said the ANC supporters were called to beat them up. He says, "We only wys-ed (scared) them once and said, hey", and the ANC supporters ran away. Kwakwakwa

Aish jaaaa I feel sorry for his voters joooo as I said that this guy was kicked out of the ANC because of some suspicions that he was an agent to destabilise the ANC. His party was formed to run a campaign of bringing back our Land, people supported him not knowing they are fooled, all of a sudden the founding principles are abandoned Malema is out there running with his funders who have an agenda to remove the government.

The mission of the EFF has been changed it is no longer Land and Nationalisation it is up against government. It is disgusting that the very same white people kill.ed millions and millions of people during apartheid today Malema is commending them better than bl.ack people. To all those voted Malema must know they voted an apartheid agent that is prepared to do everything by taking our hard earned democracy to apartheid masters

Feel sorry for yourself, EFF voters are happy with the progress CIC has achieved in a short space of time
