The rape occurred on December 25, 2011 at Nyulula Village near Ngqamakhwe.
The mother found the man raping the child when she returned from a party.
A case of rape was opened at Ngqamakhwe police station and was then handed over to the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS) of Butterworth.
The child then informed police that it was the seventh time that her father had raped her.
The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the child, was convicted and sentenced on Thursday.
"Count 1 to undergo 10 years' imprisonment, counts 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 to undergo 25 years' imprisonment. Both sentences are ordered to run concurrently," said Manatha.
