Reeva Steenkamp's bloody photo was shown in court, (aired live on Channel 199) by Gerrie Nel and team to illustrate to Oscar Pistorius that the reference he made about a Zombie Stopper and the watermelon was related to Reeva's shot in the head.
"Do you know the same thing happened to Reeva's head?. It exploded. The bullet had the exact same effect as the watermelon. It exploded", Gerrie Nel said.
Oscar cries in response says "I was there, I remember, I was there, I don't need to see the picture. I had my fingers on her head".
Pistorius turned away from gallery sobbing after court adjourned for a few minutes as his sister comforted him.
