Security Minister Siyabonga Cwele's son robbed

State Security Minister Siyabonga Cwele's son was robbed at gunpoint in his Pretoria home, police said on Wednesday.

Luyanda Cwele had just arrived at his Sunnyside home on Tuesday when a man with a firearm accosted him.

"He was locked in a bathroom until (Wednesday) morning. The gardener arrived... and the police were contacted," said deputy provincial commissioner for detective services, Maj-Gen Tebello Mosikili.

The man left with electronic equipment, car keys, a wallet and jewellery. No arrests had been made.
