'To restore the moral values of the nation'

President Jacob Zuma has asked for a national cleansing ceremony to restore what he has branded as the moral values of the nation, SABC radio news reports.

Zuma said the ritual would be of great importance in the light of incidents such as the Marikana tragedy, the rape of elderly women, and political assassinations.

He said people who were not cleansed, harboured grudges.

According to the report, Zuma said he would call on Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu to help lead the national cleansing ceremony.

All this tribal ritualistic nonsense is what Zuma is all about.

You are not playing chief here for a Zulu village here my man, you are supposed to be leader of a modern country and the biggest economy in Africa.

I bet you Zuma will play more village chief now that Ramaphosa is deputy, and expects Ramaphosa to free him up to play his preferred role of : " I am Zuluboy here to tell you to free your mind from modern thought bondage and embrace your African tribal culture". Solutions to our problems?? Ehh... please ask bra Ramaphosa... He is from McDonalds, mos.

What a load of rubbish........... What this country needs is non-corrupt competent & true leadership. How can a nation be led by a sex-crazy, corrupt, idiotic male who is only good at singing traditional songs, fattening his wallet and making his nest more comfortable and no more. The country has gone to the dogs for real. Start by having yourself cleansed i.e. if the so-called cleansing works anyway

"Zuma said the ritual would be of great importance in the light of incidents such as the Marikana tragedy, the rape of elderly women, and political assassinations."

And because a corrupt thief was elected as president of SA, who sleeps around with daughters of family friends and abuses tax payer money for his own benefit.
