FRUSTRATIONS continue as thousands of taxi operators in Gauteng expect to lose thousands of rands because they will be unable to transport commuters this festive season.
Bomageza if this government is doing this to you then abstain from voting in 2014, anyway I know you will never vote for DA that I am sure of Report Abuse

Operating without licence, permit and roadworthy has not stopped them before. I hope the concern at not having permits is genuine - the lawlessness in the taxi industry could be waning. Hoping - christmas you know. Report Abuse

She promises that the process will be completed by December 2016.
But Mamabolo says the process takes three days and the turnaround strategy has been endorsed by the taxi industry.

This Mamabolo woman is just high on Tik, look at the two statements above, so contradicting and yet its just one article, and words from the same person, or did sowetan write their own crap.
So if the process takes 3days, then why does it have to drag for so long and be complited in 2016? just asking Report Abuse

- im with the taxi drivers on this one, its their business that is affected, that inturn affects their families, that inturns affect their holidays and christmas and bills etc etc etc
- the government should have a speedy process inplace for this.....
- i like what they have done at SARS office, the process is so mightily speedy......so the transport department should adopt similar processess.......
- spend on PCs, invest on automated processes, no more writing on paper and have one person who is a dat capturer to process whats on paper and input to computer....... Report Abuse
