i personally think this shows how poor these kids are.. they are not only financially poor but also mentaly. we all know the saying "an empty tin makes a lot of noise".
I so wish we had competition with academic records or something that will build our community. Not something that will make our kids follow silly trends of materialistic world that will flush our communitie's future down the drain.

@ Tswaro and mshuluban - I actually pity you. It is such thinking that prevents Africans from being progressive. It has nothing to do jealousy and you know it. Most of these idiotic kids have no source of income other than their parents who are low and middle income earners who are barely making ends meet. Parents who are pressurised to succumb to this nonsensicality because these kids threaten suicide and all sorts of ungodly acts.

I would rather give freely to the church, as at least it will be put to good use like providing food and other basic necessities to the less fortunate, it is rather baffling how you can equate the 2 mshuluban???
