After burning the nine yards and equipment that's used in their work, do these strikers honestly expect to return to work after burning the workplace down....to work on what? How?

These strikes are going to hurt the economy of this country so badly since the mining ones are also still ongoing. To compound this is that globally there is a recession and as a foreign currency earner such citrus, grapes and deciduous fruit areas hit by strikes are going to put pressure on our balance of payments and our forecasted deficit and economic growth plans.

Why labour and government is leaving this problem to weak ministers and labour leaders is a mystery. Maybe coz no one in the leadership cares no more or coz Mangaung's the only pre-occupation? If the latter is the reason, then such leaders have no long term vision. Singabo popeye la eMzansi and on a very serious note.

Always the Farmer's fault, never the workers, yet they are the ones who are protesting violently and destroying vineyards, property etc. The wages were determined by Government, Labour Department and even Cosatu were involved. Now all of a sudden its too little? Instead of blaming the farmers, why dont you blame the ANC Government for the escalation in food, fuel and electricity prices?
