EduSolutions welcomes probe into book scandal

THE company at the centre of the Limpopo textbook scandal, EduSolutions, has said it would welcome any investigation that may be carried out.

EduSolutions spokesman Themba Ndhlovu said the company wants to clear its name following the scandal that left many schools without textbooks in Limpopo.

"It is strange that we are hearing all this talk about investigations being launched against us when no one has approached us. We only heard about it in the media.

"In fact, we have even written to the public protector [Thuli Madonsela] to let her know that we welcome any investigation into this matter," Ndhlovu said.

The letter, written by executive director Moosa Ntimba, read in part: "It is with some concern that we hear and read about reports in the media about complaints against our company . we wish to assure you that we have no problem with same and accordingly offer you our fullest co-operation ." - selebim@sowetan.co.za
