He is alleged to have employed his relatives, girlfriends and his in-laws into senior position within the police, he is alleged to have misused the police secret fund by buying fancy cars and going on holidays, he is alleged to have stolen dockets relating to a Commissioner in Rustenburg, he admitted to have tapped telephones of Fikile Mbalula, Tokyo Sexwale and Julius Malema and that he was a member of the apartheid security branch....Surely such an individual cannot be our police commissioner. Shouldn't an employee be disciplined for own misconduct in relation to performance of duty or criminal conduct. You should review her credentials before exposing your ignorance about such a shining role model of ours. She has been approached, yes you've read correctly, approached and worked for the World Bank as a Managing Director amongst other credible institutes, which your ilk can only dream of. She has been a Vice Chancellor before and irrational insinuations that she needed a DG job can only be the work of a sick mind, she has been an MD of the World Bank for crying out loud. The call is to SUSPEND him until the full investigation is completed. Nobody called for him to be found guilty without a trial or called for Zuma to be fired. The good Dr simply pointed out that he is still in a position to tamper with evidence and/or witnesses. All that anyone asks is that he is treated according to procedure.

Personal attack on Dr. I wonder how can SOWETAN publish such a thing whereas when we make comments if they feel they are abusive they refuse to publish them. The story of Mdluli is very pathetic and very ironic. He has been shifted because of the explosive letter he wrote. I am missing something here. Shouldn't an employee be disciplined for own misconduct in relation to performance of duty or criminal conduct. The written letter is neither of the above as there are no discilpinary steps pending for writing the letter. Why was he shifted. Cele was suspended for a relatively minor misconduct but for Mdluli the treatment is different, why? Talk about double standards and inconsistency at its best. I just wonder if you can produce the evidence of the allegations that you accuse the lady of?? just wondering! If someone is doing good for the society, they deserve an applause as much as if they do wrong they deserve to be corrected or punished 'period'.
If the woman is pointing out some serious issues of concern especially in the police force, why not give her a credit and let the law take its cause to investigate?
Both Nathi and Mdluli are innocent till proven guilty, so there is no need of insulting madam Ramphela the way you do it. I am not her supporter neither is Nathi nor Mdluli's patrons but let's learn to give credit when deserved!

First and foremost she probably is old enough to be your grand mother (let alone mother), and most importantly she is within her rights to challenge anything lawfully, especially the incompetence shown by our current government. You should review her credentials before exposing your ignorance about such a shining role model of ours. She has been approached, yes you've read correctly, approached and worked for the World Bank as a Managing Director amongst other credible institutes, which your ilk can only dream of. She has been a Vice Chancellor before and irrational insinuations that she needed a DG job can only be the work of a sick mind, she has been an MD of the World Bank for crying out loud.
