I am always amazed at how people of different race.s seem to get on without any problems in a one on one type situation, but as soon as groups and opposing group rights are involved, the fur flies.

From what I can understand, Cape is having a lot of problems adjusting to the influx from other areas. Places like Gauteng have always been quite 'cosmopolitan' so we don't notice the influx as much. Friends of mine have family down in the Cape and they tell me that things down there are a bit tense

Shredder, you are wrong , I don't go around spreading such fear, in fact I try and do the opposite. On this site I try and make people understand that things will be a lot better if such hat.e speech is not condoned at all.
Tasto, I have never denied that there are still w.hites who suffer from the sickness of r.acial prejudice. But I have seen a massive change since 1994. As people get used to each other, get to know each other, they see that the other 'side " are also just human beings like themselves. Some people are too ignorant to overcome that,and there is no excuse for that. I do not defend the w.hite model, to react the way she did shows she has underlying prejudices. My big concern is that the gains since 1994 are being whittled away again.
