Teach SA aims to improve quality of education

TEACH South Africa is a non-profit organisation that recruits, trains and places top graduates from various fields, other than education, into under-resourced schools as full-time educators for two years.

These "ambassadors" work tirelessly to improve the quality of education and to encourage positive change in the schools and communities in which they are involved.

In the long term Teach SA ambassadors will form an alumni movement, which will fight for equality in education by using their influence in whatever sector they decide to work in.

Teach SA was formed by the business community to find ways of improving South Africa's economy. The founding members decided to be part of the solution by getting professionals and graduates to teach at schools.
