Eyewitness Ntswaki Ngakane sent in this report about a taxi driver who went to assault a female learner driver in full view of the passengers

He writes:

I was in a taxi from Noord taxi rank to Longmeadow this morning, when our driver was about to change lanes on the freeway and a learner driver woman was also changing lanes to the side where we were moving from. Then she couldn't move, and the driver stopped in front of her, and went to assault her in full view of the passengers.

I wanted to take a picture of that scene happening, but I couldn't, coz he was gonna see me and smash my fone.

All I could get was the number plates of the car.

This needs to stop, these guys are abusive and and we lose a lot of women on the roads. I think if u publish this, the woman will come forward and be able to open a case of assault!
