King's wife is mourned

THE Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory expressed its condolences yesterday after the death of NoMoscow Dalindyebo, the first wife of the deceased abaThembu king Sabata Dalindyebo.

NoMoscow died at the Nelson Mandela Hospital in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, on June 14, said Sello Hatang, spokesman for the centre. The cause of death was not given.

The king, who was a clan cousin of former president Nelson Mandela, died in April 1986 while in exile in Zambia.

Hatang said NoMoscow would be buried on Sunday at the Bumbane Great Place in Mthatha.
