A WOMAN and two of her sons died when she poisoned them at their home in Msento village, Centane, Eastern Cape police said

The 37-year-old woman collected them and a third son from school after an argument with her husband on Monday, said Captain Jackson Manatha.

"The sons, aged three, nine and 10, went home with her where it is alleged she poisoned them before she poisoned herself," Manatha said.

"The mother was rushed to hospital with the three-year-old boy," said Manatha.

The woman died in hospital yesterday morning. The boy was in critical condition.
