TWO men were set to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court yesterday for disrupting a memorial lecture by President Jacob Zuma, national police said.
Colonel Vishnu Naidoo said the pair faced charges of riotous behaviour and sedition - conduct or language that incites rebellion.
Several people, alleged to be ANC Youth League members, were thrown out of the Good Hope Centre on Thursday after they sang while Zuma was speaking.
Cameraman Rudi le Roux was apparently hit with a chair while filming an anti-Zuma protest outside.
The ANC condemned the conduct of the "senseless thugs" at the time of the incident, saying an investigation would follow.
The youth league denied any of its members were responsible, blaming ANC members in Western Cape for the ruckus.
