Cocaine bust in Lonehill

Four men arrested for allegedly manufacturing cocaine inside the house

Four Nigerian nationals were arrested and cocaine with a street value of R5 million confiscated in a raid on a Lonehill house in northern Johannesburg on Monday morning, police said.

The men were allegedly manufacturing cocaine inside the house, said Captain Pinky Tsinyane.

Police had received a tip-off from residents in the area who were suspicious about the activity at the house.

The house was raided at 4am on Monday.

One of the men spotted the police and had tried to run away, said Tsinyane.

All four would appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court later this week on charges of possession and dealing.
