WANTED: Princesses for rich royals

Sep 19, 2011 | Sunday World | 28 comments

AmaMpondo king Ndamase Ndamasehas given his brothers two years to find brides

“A traditional leader who doesn’t have a wife doesn’t have respect within their community… this is according to our culture,” Ndamase said.

Regarded as one of the country’s richest monarchs, Ndamase’s kingdom of 2million subjects – including 40 chiefs and 96 headmen – stretches from Port St Johns to Mthatha River in Mthatha .

The king’s order comes barely two weeks after he married his sweetheart of three years, Tina Tolibadi (27).

The couple’s glamorous wedding ceremony was staged in front of more than 3000 guests at the royal palace, the Nyandeni Great Place near Libode.

Ndamase wore a gold suit designed by top Joburg designer David Tlale, while his bride wore a white off-the-shoulder diamante dress designed by Port Elizabeth designer Jason Kieck.

A BCom student at Unisa who was educated at KwaZulu-Natal’s Kearsney College, he was introduced to his wife by his royal council three years ago.

Ndamase’s personal assets include five farms, rich titanium reserves, a fleet of cars worth about R1,5m and a 10-room palace compound, maintained at taxpayer’s expense.

@ state's expense whilst he is rourming around doing absolutely nothing. All these people know is to victimise out illiterate people there in the rural areas by forcing them to pay bribes. They have no place in a democratic state..........

Its good that Chief prompts his brothers to do so ,what are they waiting for dont they know nothing is lekke soos a puzana.

it should be in constitution that every man when they turn 15 they break their virginity ,that will also reduce gays ,thats scaring the Chief he doesnt want gay brothers
