Soweto siblings bust for 'stolen parts'

They also found a 50kg bag filled with anti-retroviral tablets

A MAN and his teenaged sister were arrested in Phiri, Soweto, yesterday after parts from stolen cars were found at their home, police said.

Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela said police went to a house after a tip-off and found parts for more than 10 cars. They also found a 50kg bag filled with anti-retroviral tablets.

"We are not sure what they were doing with the anti-retroviral tablets. Investigations are continuing," Makhubela said.

Four cars which had not yet been stripped were found parked in the yard. The siblings will be charged with possession of suspected stolen cars.
