'Police know the man, because he stays in the area'
An 11-year-old girl was raped at Gqobonco in Mthatha, said Eastern Cape police on Wednesday.
The girl was raped while on her way to a spaza shop on Tuesday afternoon, said Lt-Col Mzukisi Fatyela.
“The man approached her with a knife and threatened to kill her before raping her,” said Fatyela.
“Police know the man, because he stays in the area, and we expect to make an arrest soon.”
