Shocked family find man raping child (5 years)

Relatives of the child found her and the man naked together in a back room of his Naledi home

A Johannesburg man has been arrested after a five-year-old girl was apparently raped, police said on Monday.

Relatives of the child found her and the man naked together in a  back room of his Naledi home on Sunday, said Captain Fezile Malesa.

Police were alerted and arrested the man, who appeared to be drunk.

He would appear in the Protea Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, said Malesa.
