EMBATTLED Public Works Minister Gwen Mahlangu-Nkabinde yesterday absolved herself of responsibility for the inflated R600-million police headquarters lease, and said heads would roll - but not hers.

Public Protector Thuli Madonsela found her guilty of maladministration and violating the constitution.

"No I'm not resigning. I am going to be here for as long as the president and the people of South Africa want me here."

Mahlangu-Nkabinde said several officials would be suspended.
