Johannesburg Emergency Services were hard at work dowsing a fire at the Primedia Warehouse at the Stormhill Industrial Park near Florida in the West Rand today.
The fire started just before 7am this morning at the corners of Winze and Main Reef roads.
The Primedia Warehouse was badly damaged by the ferocious fire.
The roof of the warehouse collapsed and caved in.
"My understanding is the warehouse distributes advertising material across the city and combustible materials are stored in this building," said Percy Moroganye.
There were injuries but fortunately no fatalities. All 48 employees have been accounted for.
An investigation is under way into the cause of the fire.
