South African products are fine - no need for a product recall
Reports of Nestle’s Banana baby food in glass jars being recalled are isolated to France, said Nestle SA.
The P’tit Pot Recette product was not available in South Africa and the product recall had no impact on any of the baby products in the country, spokesman Motshidisi Mokwena said in a statement.
A consumer in France found glass in one of the jars and the product was recalled.
