Reservists up for robbery

TWO police reservists were arrested near Lichtenburg, North West, in connection with the robbery of a 29-year-old man who was held up by a gang pretending to be police officers

One of the reservists was on duty when a group of four allegedly stole R2400 from the man at his home on Thursday last week, police said.

He allegedly advised his brother, one of the suspects in the case, to hide away the money before being detained by police.

The reservists were expected to appear in court today.
