COPE leadership has accused a faction led by Mbhazima Shilowa of running a campaign to disrupt the party's activities in the build-up to local government elections.
Yesterday Cope deputy chairperson Lesego Sentsho accused Shilowa and his ally, former Cope Gauteng chairperson John Ngcebentsha, of using their supporters to destabilise the faction led by Mosioua Lekota.
Ngcebentsha has sincerejoined the ANC with former Cope media coordinator Onkgopotse Tabane - who is another Shilowa ally.
