ELECTRICITY supply to the Chamdor business area and Mindalore residential area, both in Mogale City, will be interrupted for up to two weeks after a bus crashed into a pylon structure yesterday morning

Mogale City municipality spokesperson Nkosana Zali said: "A Putco bus driver lost control of his bus at about 5am and hit the structure at the T-junction of Tudor and Stasie roads."

There were no fatalities during the accident, he said.

The driver was taken to hospital after sustaining minor injuries.

Zali said electricity supply was restored by 7am yesterday but there would be regular outages over the next two weeks.

He said electricity interruption would take place in the afternoons when there was less demand for power.
