A FORMER Congress of the People official says Cope used his travel account for leaders' flights, landing him in debt

Last week the KPMG forensic audit into Cope's finances found that Cope paid R35,000 to Uniglobe travel agency to settle Onkgopotse JJ Tabane's debts.

But Tabane, who was Cope parliamentary spokesperson, says it is untrue.
