Chomee turns 24 in grand style

THE sultry, sexy Chomee turned 24 last night and celebrated the night with a bang at the Blues Room at the Village Walk in Sandton.

Now in its second year, this year's birthday celebration was also a time for Chomee to give back to the community.

She will give away 10 bursaries each worth R10,000.

She also launched her own company, Divatainment.

It all started last year at the Tokyo-style restaurant in Fourways where she dazzled the guests for two hours with her sexy moves.

She did the same last night, but this time there was a good cause.

"I was very excited about my birthday celebration last night, especially because I was able not only to enjoy myself, but bring joy to others who were in despair because of certain challenges in their lives.

"It's good to celebrate your birthday but if you give back to those that have contributed to who you are, is even more amazing," she said.

"We will be giving away 10 bursaries to tertiary students that were selected from a deluge of letters that followed as a result of our invitation.

"We had asked all the students who could not afford to go to tertiary to write to us explaining why they deserved to be helped."

To spoil herself for her birthday, Chomee visited a hair salon, got a pedicure and a manicure.

She said the beauty of wearing a school uniform was that "you do not have to go shopping".
