Married mother of three 'rapes' boy (14)

A woman has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy in a village near KwaMhlanga, Mpumalanga

The alleged crime came to light when the boy was caught allegedly breaking into and stealing money from a neighbour's house on Friday afternoon, police spokesperson Sergeant Nonhlanhla Kgosana said on Sunday.

"During confrontation about his crime, the boy told his mother and the owner of the house that a woman from next door had raped him the previous day.

"He said he desperately needed the money to go and consult a traditional healer because his private parts were itchy."

The woman was arrested at her home and charged with rape.

The boy was taken to KwaMhlanga Hospital for treatment.

The teenager apparently told police that the rapes started in June last year.

The 36-year-old married mother of three children had allegedly been luring him into her house after school.
