THOUGH Miss SA Teen will pass on her crown on September 26, three months earlier than expected, she sees her recent experience as something she does not regret and will never forget.
"This year has changed me so much," says Kopano Mocwane. " I have come out of my shell totally.
"I was halfway out when I was crowned and I made a decision to use this platform to help me grow as a person.
"One of my highs during my reign was to have met former beauty queen Basetsana Khumalo, who has asked me to join her mentorship programme."
Mocwane said after handing over the crown she would not disappear.
"I am super ambitious and a go-getter. People have told me this industry is hard and you have to be tough, but I am determined to succeed."
She also wants to get into acting and TV presenting.
