PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma's hotline, which the public can use to report poor service delivery, will be up and running next month, the SABC reported yesterday.

The Presidency said the service would be toll-free from landlines and discussions were under way on whether calls from cellphones should also be toll-free.

This emerged in a reply to a parliamentary question by the Independent Democrats.

The initial cost was expected to be about R4million a year with 21 full-time staff employed. - Sapa
