The fight fraternity will witness what could be a gruelling fight on Friday night between Lucky Lewele and Bongani Mwelase.
The fight has been on the cards for a very long time and promoter Branco Milenkovic and the Gauteng sports department will finally present it at the Wembley Arena.
It will be televised live by Blow by Blow at 10pm.
Vincent Vuma will defend the WBC International junior middleweight belt against Argentinian Raul Eduardo Bejarano in the main supporting bout.
Lewele will defend both the SA and WBC International welterweight belts. "Babawazo" has not lost a fight since 2003 and he boasts 25 wins (18 KOs) against three losses.
But Lewele, who won the titles in September last year and March this year, faces a fearless and determined youngster who calls himself "Cyclones".
At 23 Mwelase has literally set the boxing scene alight with his crippling power, which has left all nine of his victims gasping for air.
He turned professional last year after winning gold in the Commonwealth Games in Australia. But he has been promised a painful boxing lesson.
"You don't talk too much before your fight in the professional ranks," warned Lewele. "I will destroy him terribly over six rounds."
His mentor Nick Durandt said he warned Mwelase during the boxing awards that he must not let his dream become his worst nightmare.
"He talks too much and you know what, empty vessels always make lots of noise," said Durandt
But Mwelase warned: "Lewele will meet the devil and he's gonna get burned. I'll be the fire while my hands will be smashing him throughout the fight."
His mentor Jonny du Plooy said: "If you want to talk about anybody getting knocked out, that is Lucky."
Lewele, Mwelase, Vuma and Bejarano came face to face at Nasrec yesterday where their pre-fight medical was conducted by Dr Peter Chadderton, who gave them a clean bill of health.
