A young woman recalled how Gauteng's alleged worst sex predator raped her twice in a matter of minutes after exclaiming that he "enjoyed" her.
Testifying in the Johannesburg high court yesterday the 26-year-old woman sobbed bitterly when she recounted her ordeal.
She was 19 years old in February 2002 when she allegedly became Mongezi Samuel Jinxela's seventh victim.
Jinxela allegedly raped 65 women over a period of 10 years. Some women were raped more than once.
His reign of terror ended when he was arrested in 2004 and charged with 261 counts, including 71 rapes, 64 kidnappings, 61 assaults and 62 robberies.
Recounting her ordeal, the woman said she met Jinxela in the Johannesburg CBD.
"I was walking to the library when I met him. He asked if I was employed or studying. I told him I was still studying. He said he could get me a job at his factory which specialised in sportswear. He told me he was the supervisor and that he was staying with his employer in Randburg," the woman said.
Dressed in a yellow suit with a white shirt, the woman said she agreed to go with him and they then boarded a taxi to Riverlea.
They alighted along Main Reef Road and started walking.
"We walked until the houses ended. When I asked him where his factory was, he said we should take a short cut through the bushes. While we were walking he tripped me and I fell. He sat on my chest and ordered me to take out the money. He took R50. He then strangled me and threatened to shoot me. He took off my clothes and made me kneel.
"He then penetrated me from behind. Afterwards I put on my clothes. He then said that I was nice and said he wanted to do it again. He made me kneel down again," she said.
The trial continues.
