OnePlan, many stories – What’s yours?

Discussions about health insurance don’t usually leave one feeling very excited, but rather exasperated and annoyed. Why don’t they get us? Why can’t we have good and open consumer-company relationships with such an important industry in many peoples’ lives? Often we are left feeling less than thrilled with our insurance companies, to say the least.

South Africa’s media is filled with negativity and horror stories, especially on social media platforms. Gone are the times when good news was something to talk about. This doesn’t help with the stigma attached to health insurance, as related stories are usually of a similar theme – dissatisfied customers and poor communication.

But, what if one health insurance company did something different?

OnePlan Health Insurance is excited to announce their new campaign, OnePlan, Many Stories, which will be launching soon! This campaign will consist of an exciting blog, featuring amazing stories of OnePlan clients who have endured health hardships, and returned to the gift of health. We invite all existing OnePlan clients to submit their stories, and the winning story will be the first one to feature on the brand new blog, still to be announced.

Through this initiative, OnePlan hope to create an inspiring forum filled with personal stories that are relatable and resonate with anyone reading them, whether they have had a similar experience or not. The catalogue of human-centric stories will also focus on relevant Health Awareness Days in South Africa, applying the stories to specific days in that month, such as World Kidney Day, World Arthritis Day and World AIDS Day.

Putting healthcare into the hands of more South Africans is OnePlan’s main focus, and they do this by offering easy and affordable health insurance options, underpinned by innovation. This is just another way for OnePlan to challenge the status quo in the healthcare environment, and this time it starts with you!
