Celebrities who say Christmas is family time

Christmas means it's time for family reunions, bonding and exchanging and sharing gifts. Unfortunately many celebrities are forced to choose between work and this important family day, but here's our round-up of celebs planning for family time:

Television actress and fitness trainer Carol Behane said she plans to spend the day with her daughter.

"I'll be enjoying Christmas with my family after not doing so for a long time. I am planning to dedicate this day to them."

SABC1 weather presenter Mkhushulwa Msimanga will be going home to KwaZulu-Natal. He said since he has an extended family, they use this time to talk about issues.

Choreographer and actress Khabonina Qubeka is going on a holiday with her mother, Portia.

"We are taking a well-deserved break after a long and hectic year. We will be spoiling ourselves in Cape Town."

Rhythm City star Nokuthula Ledwaba said: "I will be inviting my friend over to my house and spend time with family. My cousin will do all the cooking".

Radio Pulpit presenter and musician Nosipho Daniels believes the first stop should be church.

"After that I will host the whole family.

"Since I am known for cooking delicious meals I will serve an out-of-this-world buffet this Christmas."

Afro-pop singer Theo Kgosinkwe has chosen to spend Christmas with his family. He said it was a family tradition to spend Christmas at the parents' house.
